Hello to everyone! We are here with John Harris and Michael Freeman, teachers at Roberti’s school, and we’re going to discuss about the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology as a school subject. So welcome and thanks for accepting our invitation, John and Michael.

John: It’s my pleasure to be here, thanks!

Michael: It’s my pleasure too!

Me: Okay, so what do you think about that? What about the rights and wrongs of Information and Communication Technology?

John: I think it’s a good idea, because the information we’re in the technologies and the world is changing to the era of network and technology.

Michael: I disagree with John because technologies are putting books away and the pleasure of studying in libraries with a book or handwriting.

John: But they are totally compatible, it’s not necessary putting away new technologies and electronic tools.

Michael: Yes, but in my opinion new technologies distract people and children.

Me: Okay teachers, time is over, so well, thanks for coming and good luck!

John: It’s been my pleasure!

Michael: Thanks for inviting us! Bye.

Dear Anna,

Thank you for your letter, which I got yesterday. I was happy hearing from you. The news about your interview is very interesting. You didn’t say if you got the job I hope so. I was sorry to hear that you have been bungled again. How many times has this happened to you? Five hundred pounds is a lot of money! Does the police know who did it?

You wanted me to tell you about what I’m doing in Edinburgh, and how my life is here. Well I enjoy very much. The course is good, but harder than I had thought. First I had the friends, but I soon met the people who are in the same apartment as me. Actually, I spend the all time trying to the books, which I need to read for my course although they are difficult to find. I’m sure I’ll find them soon, when I buy them, I’ll be very busy.

I’m finishing now. A friend of mine has to write a letter in French, and I said I wanted to help him. Please write me on phone soon. If you came to Scotland, you have to visit me, but remember to take warm clothes! It’s so cold here!

Video: Flipping the classroom

First of all, the video introduce how the common education is, and then show us how the Flipping the classroom innovated method is. The teacher film a video with the contents and share it online, the students can watch that video as many times as they needed, then in the class the teacher can help all the students individually.

I think this a good method because each student is different that the other, we not all learn the same way.

Opinio Essay:

Technology is constantly developing and the information on television and in the movies in increasingly manipulated, in my opinion, everything went so fast that people don’t realize.

Currently television includes a lot of advertisements which make people feel like buying unnecessary products and different staff, so, I don’t like television because

brainwash people and manipulated them. I think, people shouldn’t watch to much television.

Secondly, movies aren’t too direct, but have advertisement and cause particular behaviors and political ideas.

To conclude, in my view, television and some movies are not good to people’s behavior.

Second Writing: OLS (individual)

Official Language School Banyoles

Last Thursday the OLS (Official Language School Banyoles) celebrated its 10^th birthday at Audition L’Ateneu of Banyoles.

The OLS is a language school which teaches English and also French. In the school there are about 400 adult students and 6 teachers.

The inauguration was at 6:00 pm. In this event there were 4 participants who talked about the OLS and his evolution. Annie Gili, principal of the school, talked about the school success.

Miquel Noguer, the town’s major congratulated the school and encouraged it’s teachers.
